You guys sure like to slam posters here. IF the Jays could trade Bautista they would. He sure as s*** isn't going to re-sign after this season, so it's worth exploring the possibility of moving him. Failing that, at the end of the campaign, the Jays qualify him, he rejects (naturally) then moves on to sign with another club and Toronto gets a first rounder in return. End of story. So there's nothing wrong with looking into the possibility of trading him. It may not happen, but.......

The dominating offence definitely helps make the rotation look a little better. It's an average rotation, that will be good enough because of the bats.

I started watching the Blue Jays when Manny Lee and Damaso Garcia were on the team. Dave Stieb was a phenomenal pitcher, and of course the BBB outfield led the way. I was watching the World Series wins on TV in Calgary and, after each win, we went out and partied. It was awesome because all the cars in YYC were honking their horns with people yelling out their car windows. Those WS wins were totally felt all around Canada.

The Jays can't look too far ahead to the Yankees. They need to focus on the As first.
