polar bear Verified Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Martin really struggling at plate the last month.... Same can be said for EE,Donaldson,Reyes, and the worse of them all Bautista.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Also, as good as Schultz has been, he's now only pitched 5 fewer innings than Brett Cecil, who was trusted to be the closer coming into the year. Anyway, me don't want to see this team trading away more young talent unless it's a great return that serves the team in the present and future.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I really hope AA realizes he got some nice BP pieces already, they're just being used incorrectly. He added Hendriks, Schultz and Osuna.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I love how cash pulled Ramirez just when it looked like Jays were about to get to him

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 No loss in the standings, as the Yankees lost to the Mariners. Small consolation. 70 games left and 4.5 gms back with the entire division packed up, save the NYY. It become math based on probabilities pretty soon as games slip by.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 The HOFF debut in double A tonight might bring some hope to this board! We have all been despaired far too long!

Posted this before need to win at about or .600 clip going forward, who sees that right now as it stands? 6 out of 10, every 10 Games, 7 times in a Row.... Ummmm yikes!
Jayday Verified Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 oh boo hoo RA dickey. Dickey just cant pitch as well as the opposing pitcher. Bottom line. You freaking lobotomized idjit. Bottom line .
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 The Jays have to outscore Gibbons mismanagement for the rest of the season .
comeon sense Verified Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 IMO-The Jays should bring Thole back to catch Dickeys games. To me,it seems they won more games,or had better luck, and when Thole would get a hit,it would almost always mean an automatic win. Martins slump could be attributed to having to catch the knuckler once every five days-just sayin.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Demote Loup problem solved, Gibby can't use him if not here! Loup hits lefties and righties hit Loup....
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 King...i think we need you to make the GDT tomorrow. It's getting to be crunch time...we need to go streaking again.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 According to Gibbons, Hendriks is officially the long reliever in the pen despite being the team's 2nd best reliever: the way it setup right now, I really like the way Osuna has been throwing, what Schultzy’s done, he’s really come on fast so he’s been pitching a little bit later in the game. You’ve got the swing guys, Cecil and Loup and Delabar. I like those two guys late. Osuna and Schultz right now. Hendricks is basically the long guy right now.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 According to Gibbons, Hendriks is officially the long reliever in the pen despite being the team's 2nd best reliever: I can't blame Gibby anymore. He's been an idiot since 2004 but this organization keeps hiring him. Only the fans suffer.

I think the biggest mistake was hiring JPRs assistant. Really that allowed a continuity to poor decision making to continue. Going back to 2002, things could have gone very differently for this franchise.

Yes it's pretty hard to cheer for a team that is never even close to putting there best possible lineup/relievers out there. f***ing make the change ALEX.
