Against Sale they may only get one good pitch to hit in an AB...Swing if its the 1st one. Stay in a zone but aggressive.

 

This is true in many cases, but when you have a massive contrast in the SP and the pen, you need to work the count a bit overall as a team. On the flip side, you probably want to be a bit more aggressive against Yankees or Orioles SP.

The only thing i can think of with the early aggression is that there are thunderstorms in the forecast for roughly 10pm, so this game may go only 6-8 innings. I guess the thinking is to be aggressive as Sale likes pounding the zone, and we hopefully knock one out.
