oh, you mean the ironic part where I give him a hard time for coloring outside the lines with his humor after he and others in your fantasy group gave me a hard time for basically the same thing with a joke I made about Dickey?

lol

I can feign disgust too..... you mean that part?

I'm confused. So if you're doing the same thing we did, and you deleted all of our accounts, are you gonna delete your own account?

But then who would rule this place with an iron fist?

Idk what Dickey joke you're talking about. Pretty sure Boxy meant the phonebook joke. I'm just here to read between the lines, be snarky and not get fined. i'm out

Anyone else surprised Carter was one of the "franchise four"? Nobody can take away what he did but it's hard to put him over Stieb, Bautista, or even Olerud.

yeah, Carter certainly doesn't make my "franchise four" (even though I have a good photo of my wife wearing his world series ring.) We still would've won without Joe's blast. Stieb's a no-brainer. I'd take Fernandez over Carter as well.

Why does arbitation apply to him for even one year?

Or does BBREF have that wrong?

They signed him to a contract before he even made the MLB, he has years of control until 17', same thing goes for Hechavarria, Abreu, etc..

So BBref has it right.

I meant to ask, who was the Four selected? I'd have had Stieb, Halladay, Alomar and Delgado, with Fernandez right there. FWIW. Bautista's still playing so you can't go there.

I see 3 of my picks were their...Carter over Stieb...Pffftt.

If the contract that they initially signed him for expires prior to him having enough service time to become a free agent, he'd be arb-eligible just like anybody else with less than six years of service.
