Statman Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Location: 7:07 PM @ Rogers Centre TV: SNET Radio: SN590, Sirius 216 The Toronto Blue Jays will send red-hot starter Marco Estrada to the hill on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox. Estrada (5-3, 3.45 ERA) has taken a no-hitter into the eighth inning during back-to-back starts. On Wednesday against the Rays, Estrada was perfect through seven frames until he allowed an infield single with one out in the eighth. The right-hander is the first Blue Jays pitcher to carry a no-hitter in consecutive starts since Dave Stieb did it in 1988. The Red Sox will counter with Eduardo Rodriguez. The left-hander will look to bounce back from his start vs. the Orioles on Thursday, when he allowed six earned runs in 3 2/3 innings. Rodriguez (3-2, 4.33 ERA) is 2-0 with a 0.45 ERA in three road starts. Three things to know about this game • On June 14 vs. Toronto at Fenway Park, Rodriguez allowed nine earned runs on eight hits over 4 2/3 innings in the Blue Jays' 13-5 win. • Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts extended his hitting streak to six games on Monday. Since May 31, he is batting .339 in the past 28 games. • Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson continues to swing a hot bat. The 29-year-old leads the American League in extra-base hits at home with 27. Donaldson added to his lead with a double in the sixth inning on Monday night. HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Man the Jays have had some terrible luck since Saturday.
Statman Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 We're breaking all the rules now. You have to roll with my luck for now and the bonus is it will piss off jaysforlife19. The irony is the simpler game day threads have a greater winning % than those game threads made by people that take pride in making them.

I hope you pull through. I can't measure your luck as I don't have your minor league BABIP stats in front of me.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 I like it. I have a good feeling about this one.
baubau Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Lefty on the mound against the Jays? AcEstrata on the mound? We're playing at home? Win or lose, its a loss to this team if they don't at least score 7 runs tonight and AcEstrata doesn't take another no-hitter/perfect game into the 8th.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 We're breaking all the rules now. We need to mix it up a bit. Gotta try something new.

Pablo: "Don't run chicken little, Panada's hungry tonight!" I was shocked that Panda was able to catch Martin, looked so bad for Martin.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 I was shocked that Panda was able to catch Martin, looked so bad for Martin. Martin was running with his face back so he could tell if the ball was thrown to the catcher. If it was a full sprint Sandoval had no chance.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Cmon, it's not like we have another catcher who is superior in every aspect of the game....
flafson Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Goins has a HR against this guy, why isn't he starting in LF? Because he has gone cold maybe.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Because he has gone cold maybe. When did he go hot?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 When did he go hot? so Goins has menopause? I've heard hot flashes can be horrible.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 I hope after tomorrow they'll stop showing those Tim and Sid commercials.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Not really surprised that it's Navarro tonight since you know Martin was always going to get the start on Canada Day.
