John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Yeah the Navarro love fest is super annoying. Gotta be showcasing for a trade, there's no other reason for it
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Nt bad on the out of town scoreboard, Tampa and Baltimore both losing right now
nextyear Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 It looks like Toronto has a future superstar in Devon Travis. He is good defensively and offensively, and will probably just keep getting better. Reading through his bio on Wikipedia, I see that he wasn't drafted until 2012 when he was 22 years old because he attended the University of Florida State - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devon_Travis. In my opinion, this is also a plus that he chose to attend university. I wonder why Ryan Goins can't learn from all the great hitters on the Blue Jays such as Devon Travis. Goins seems to get under so many balls for popups whereas other good hitters swing level and get line-drives (or deep bombs like Edwin Encarnacion).

Travis looks fine but lets not get ahead of ourselves calling him a "future superstar". The 24 year old has 150 PAs in MLB. He had a nice return yesterday.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
