People are enjoying watching the Blue Jays win because they are getting timely hitting and also they are also getting good defence from Bautista, Pillar, Donaldson, Reyes, Goins and Martin. (LF and 1st base have been so-so). Saying that "Goins sucks" is just immature or means that jays4life19 doesn't understand the game of baseball.

 

Good defence at one position encourages good defence at other positions. If players such as Reyes are making circus plays that lead to errors, which cost the Blue Jays games, then watching them lose high scoring games is not enjoyable. Lately Reyes hasn't been doing that and I think that it partly because Donaldson and Goins are setting an example in the infield for Reyes to match.

 

I appreciate defence as much as offence, so jays4life19 saying "Goins sucks" seems like garbage to me, so I posted my opinion.

Goins plays stellar defense and over the last couple weeks has NOT hurt the team with his bat. He is an optimal bench player who, once Travis comes back, should be a defensive replacement for Reyes 7th inning and forward when the jays have a lead.

Shoeless Joe and Pete Rose need to be forgiven before A-Rod, but he too needs to be recognized for being a great athlete. He's a bit of a douche but there are players in the HOF who were much worse human beings

Watching the highlights.. didn't look like wright meant to hit bautista, but I missed the game

 

Yeah, Wright was just pitching inside and Joey does crowd the plate at times.

 

This is just baseball and if two teams have a history then things can get out of control pretty quickly through no fault of anyone...which is what happened last night.

I counted 5 bloops in the last 2 innings. Clearly, both were unlucky.
