  1. Sweet win. Bats got Gibby out of another loss. Bullpen looks good now.
  2. It's getting kind of frustrating watching the mental errors cost us.
  3. The bottom of the lineup has been fantastic. Need runs here.
  4. It was just lazy. A get-me-over fastball that got the treatment that it deserved. But a nice ending. This will be put down to his flu but it's been Hutch's story all season. Concentration. Bad pitches get tagged.
  5. This could be a very long game. Hopefully Hutch settles down but that bottom half won't have helped him.
  6. Fans are superb. Drunk, maybe. But superb.
  7. Shame. Price hasn't needed to be at his best to get the job done to today. Donaldson owes an at bat next inning.
  8. I'm just lashing out I suppose but a good outfielder gets to the wall early and makes the play. Imo,
  9. Put him in for Navarro in the 8th and I say it's a different game even then. Game of inches I suppose. This loss is down to Gibby...and another outfield mistake which cost a first inning run.
  10. Yeah, Wright was just pitching inside and Joey does crowd the plate at times. This is just baseball and if two teams have a history then things can get out of control pretty quickly through no fault of anyone...which is what happened last night.
  11. As long as it doesn't get out of hand. Jays have the tools to win this series. Fired up is good, but don't get into the theatrics. Can only hurt.
  12. This team is in good shape right now. I can't expect my Jays line up to continue at this pace but anything even resembling it should make it interesting come trade time or even during the coming off season. They've got bats to spare. And Copeland lad, take a bow. It must have been some pressure to come in during a streak and pitch so easily. Even when he got a tad wild near the end he clawed it back. Runners on base never bothered him either and that's been the Jays' Achilles Heel for so long - smooth sailing until a runner gets on base and then it falls apart.
