BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Looks like lots of rain today lol. If only we saw this coming and had the double header yesterday.. We need a LHH "Bringer of Sun" in the line up to mix it up with RHH JD. Obsession in this pennant race is deep. Woke up thinking about rain in NY and how pumped I was to see Martin and Tulo making such hard contact with the ball last night. This has been pretty fun stuff.

In the off season the jays should sign chris Davis to play 1b. Let him hit between ee and jb in the four spot There's your LHH bringer of ss

Ehjays Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Lineup for Game 1 of the doubleheader-- let's hope we get the games in: I was hoping to see Pompey get the start
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 A win in Game 2 would be awesome, guarantees at least a split and a worst a 1.5 game lead after the series. Plus it would put all kinds of pressure on NY. Both Pineda and Nova have struggled, but they seem to own us, lets hope for another big bat performance. I was hoping to see Pompey get the start Game 2 maybe?
EE 1B 2nd game.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Looks like Smoak will not get an at bat today.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Looks like Smoak will not get an at bat today. No game 2 either?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 No game 2 either? EE on 1st Bautista DH
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 EE on 1st Bautista DH oh. Surprised Smoak was not in game 1. Who plays Right in game 2?
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Pompey in RF in gm 2 if it's played?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 http://www.bluejayhunter.com/2015/09/the-blue-jays-all-have-matching-bathrobes.html?m=1 Robes for everyone. Make it happen
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Pompey in RF in gm 2 if it's played? I doubt that. More likely Zeke
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 that might be the play. then the SP can be a bunch of back of the rotation guys and jays still win 90+ I'd prefer we don't encourage a repeat of this first half of this year, thanks.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Pompey in RF in gm 2 if it's played? no. These are some of the biggest games of the season. I'm not starting a rookie who has battled confidence issues in the past.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 no. These are some of the biggest games of the season. I'm not starting a rookie who has battled confidence issues in the past. So you'd have Zeke in who can't hit a lick...

Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 So you'd have Zeke in who can't hit a lick... He sucks at Defense too.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 He sucks at Defense too. Ya...his only skill is his legs.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 So you'd have Zeke in who can't hit a lick... Carrera is only slightly below league average offensively; according to fangraphs he is 92 wRC+ http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=9048&position=OF
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 no edwin But luckily he is on the bench and should be back soon.
Ehjays Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 But luckily he is on the bench and should be back soon. Mushroom can do the DH duties today. Its Pillar batting 6th that bugs me
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Any news on Travis? 60 day DL. Expect nothing from him...if you do it'll be a miracle...or he'll be playing in pain.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 ugh...imagine this team with a healthy Tulo and Travis. And Saunders...
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 However deep we go into the playoffs...all we need in the offseason is some starting pitching. No more Buehrle, Hutch
