Revisionist history....do you have proof of this? From what I recall...he in fact was bad when people were saying he was bad. No one said he would not turn it around. He was bad early. That's all people said. It seems all you do is lurk then jump at a chance to stroke your ego with some bs hindsight or act like someone saying a batter had a bad at bat means they said the player sucks.

When he was bad people said it. Now he is pitching well people are saying it. It's not hard to understand. He struggled early, that's all there was to it. He was in fact bad for a stretch he will even tell you that.Step away from the keyboard and stop over thinking.

Except he wasn't. Which was the entire argument.

Umm yes he was terrible, lower velocity, bad curve, bad command he was not ready after spring training, he was night and day compared to now. Anyone who says he was not bad to start the season is we'll mom said I should not say anything if I don't have anything.

Get a JD or Stro....they will both be here longer than Tulo

Why? Tulo has a full no trade. Hamels was almost impossible to move and he did have some teams he wasn't able to block.

In fact, if i was Tulo, i'd be house hunting right now.

Cecil was never bad for any stretch of games this season. I do remember him being very unlucky earlier in the year though. Stuff like routine GBDPs being booted by Reyes, infield singles, passed ball and then a sac fly, etc.

Im sure its in the weekly numbers but I haven't looked. I just remember he missed a lot of spring training and early on he didn't have the V....his curve was rolling as not as sharp and he wasn't hitting his spots with the FB.

It wasn't that long of a period but it coincides with him losing closer role. Overall this season he has been very good and hugely reliable. The bats he misses with the curve is awesome.

Full no trade? If that was the case he wouldn't be here right now.

When he was blowing saves he had no command on his fastball so he threw like 5 curveballs one after the other, it didn't end well.

His contract said that if he is going to be traded, then he gets full no trade from his new team. We are the new team so he has full no trade.

I agree. I don't know why the Blue Jays would want to trade Tulowitzki.

It is easy to quantify offensive numbers but I think Tulowitzki's defensive contribution is being greatly underestimated by some.

Man Yankees schedule is a bit easier. After today we play 9 at home and 17 on the road. Yanks 16 at home 12 on the road

The big difference between Tulo and Reyes is that even with Tulo's injury history(a wash on that front with Reyes), his deal is an asset as opposed to a liability.

Remains to be seen what Jays do with Tulo. He can play out the string here or be moved for value coming back. That wasn't the case with Reyes.

Nope I didn't think I was allowed two after I snuck that one in yesterday! Lol

You just picked the day Price was pitching...lol

That plus with the emergence of this New Ryan Goins of late it becomes even more of a possibility now and maybe moving forward!

Plus he will start hitting at some point. He's just having an off month at the plate. Happens to good hitters all the time. He's a good hitter.

Guys what shirsey do I get, Stroman or Tulo?

If they're the same price, get Tulo. More letters for the same price = value a Jew can appreciate!

i already posted this in the GDT, but i think it'd be more appropriate here.
