Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 From the Blue Jays twitter: Don't think I like this but we'll see
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I don't like the 4 RHB together but they are our best 4
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I don't like the 4 RHB together but they are our best 4 Lol wut. They've been back-to-back in the lineup ever since the Tulo trade
nextyear Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I think that moving Martin further down is a good idea since he has been slumping at the plate. Moving Tulowitzki down in the lineup will be interesting. Having Goins batting clean up for Smoak, Martin and Pillar because of his hot bat makes sense .
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Don't think I like this but we'll see Why not? Tulo hasn't looked very good so far. Way too many Ks
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 lets be honest about Tulo. Even with his multi hit games on the road trip, he's been very lucky. I haven't seen a whole lot of line drives from him. He's a different hitter because of his timing or maybe he's just regressing.

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Don't think I like this but we'll see f***ing Gibby, like Zaun would say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 This was necessary, hopefully Tulo also just feels more comfy in a familiar spot. I love this line up.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 f***ing Gibby, like Zaun would say, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Tulo's been in a bit of a funk, and Revere is hot as f***, so I'm okay with this.

The surgically repaired hip and the fact that he's almost 31 might have something to do with it.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 That's a good lineup ! Wow, FEAR THE BIRD !!!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Rather not changed the lineup with scoring 15 runs twice in a week. But Tulo really didn't need to be hitting leadoff.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I think he's just adjusting to the new league, new stadiums, etc. It's not like he's a rookie going through his first go around. This is what, his 10th big league season and the 2nd with interleague throughout the season. It's no excuse.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 The surgically repaired hip and the fact that he's almost 31 might have something to do with it. Already spreading your Tulo is the worst contract in majors agenda eh

EMK19 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Personally like the move. We may as well tinker with the lineup while we have some breathing room to see what works, rather than later in September or something. It's not like they can't go back on the decision, we can always go back to putting Tulo leadoff again if we feel that this move doesn't work.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Excuses. So players, even very good ones, aren't allowed to be in slumps?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Didn't Tulo say he never watches game film? Maybe he should start doing that if he's batting leadoff so he knows what a pitcher throws.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 That's a good lineup ! Wow, FEAR THE BIRD !!! Imagine if travis was in, crazy good lineup.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 So players, even very good ones, aren't allowed to be in slumps? he does this all the time, if he was a angels fans he would say Trout is losing it
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Already spreading your Tulo is the worst contract in majors agenda eh They'll just trade him for another star SS on the beginning of a decline in 2 years.

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
