They have a huge drop in road games. They're built for a hitter's ballpark. Get away from hitter's ballparks like their ballpark and Yankee Stadium and they're not even average. CHRIST

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Danny V: 1.0 WAR Lawire: 0.5 WAR LOL!!! It was poor decision to let him go over Colla. I hope the gods don't smite us with some bad kharma s*** in OAK.

Could give a flying f***. Its like being exciting about leading run differential. Just want the W's man...over and over.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 It's true... the Jays have a 99 wRC+ on the road. Not even average (although every team plays better at home ... only four teams are above-average offenses on the road. They're an "above-average road team"). yes thank you captain pedantic although i guess i definitely deserve it

Well having a good run differential has shown to be useful in terms of getting W's. Having a good power ranking, meh

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I think DV was against being a bench piece and was let go because of that. He was only going to be a pinch hitter basically if he stayed. If DV was willing to be part of the race as a bench player he would still be on the team, but he probably feels that he needs to play because he has not contract for next year. Colabello is just happy to be on a team. DV wants to play ever At the risk of being a dick... This speculation seems pretty baseless.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Actually I resigned Why is that? Justice took its toll on you?

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I remember that one year when George Bell went 27-5 with a 2.52 ERA and won the MVP award. Cleanup in my office...coffee everywhere.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I know we're getting ahead of ourselves, but suppose we end up winning the division and have a 5 game series. Who would you want to start the series - Dickey or Price? If you put Price in as the 1st starter, you get to use him twice in the series. However, if you put Dickey first, you can maximize the Dickey effect for the remainder of the series.

Mac Outlaw Verified Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Easy answer: PRiCE Don't outthink yourself a la Cito in 91. It's obviously Price. The Dickey effect might not even exist.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 In a 5 game series against Houston I'd want Price and Dickey twice. We would win
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Carlos Santana suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You shut your mouth. His hair & his duet (Smooth) with Rob Thomas are both fantastic.
