wtf!!!!!!!!! I can understand Gibby, but Sanchez 3 games?

 

Apparently it’s okay to throw at a players head (twice), as long as they get out of the way, but if you throw at a players legs (unintentionally) and they don’t get out of the way you get tossed out of the game and later suspended. Makes perfect sense. Not to mention they also hit Tulo after the warning was in place. Again, makes perfect sense.

Yes but your beef is with the umpire not with the league. The league isn't going to re-interpret who threw intentionally and who didn't. They are tied to the interpretation of the umpire. They did exactly what they everyone should have expected them to do.

I remember being at the home opener after Shannon was traded to the Twins. Our fans were classless, chanting "Shannon's Mom!!!" over and over again down the left field line. Poor guy, he was a good player for us, he couldn't throw but he did everything else!

I would be disappointed. Dickey has been throwing really well lately with Martin behind the plate. Gibby also seems to feel a need to DH Navarro when they carry 3 catchers.

If Thole comes up I'd still like to see one of Cola or Navarro moved and another OF brought up as well. You can't have 3 catchers and 3 1b on one roster.

Goins doesn't really make a worse 4th OF than Cola and Cola has options. Swap Thole for Cola and the bench isn't really all that worse short term. Cola is a lot less useful than the team seems to think he is.

Agreed. I'd like to see Schultz (play the options) and Cola sent down with Thole (if they're doing it for Dickey) and Pompey brought up. Let Revere and Pillar platoon.
