o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I bet the water in the land of the Swiss is fantastic. call Switzerland and ask them. I've never been there.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I bet the water in the land of the Swiss is fantastic. Yeah, but I bet you're not allowed to swim in it without some sort of swimming certification, two lifeguards on duty, and proof that you haven't eaten anything in the last thirty minutes.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Tap water is perfectly fine to drink but the taste is not as good, probably cause of the fluoride. I'd rather keep the fluoride for oral hygiene thanks.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 finally to where he should have started the year As opposed to being our closer with Cecil down? lol Funny though....out of spring training our mgm was saying he has had better stuff than Osuna. He does have good stuff.....command is the issue.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 finally to where he should have started the year Yep. Burned an option so they can put him back to where he should have started all along. Hope he stays healthy because that burned option may come back and bite us if he's not ready in a couple of years.

Hope he stays healthy because that burned option may come back and bite us if he's not ready in a couple of years. In addition to the option, we also have to keep him on the 40. Not having enough 40 man roster space has already cost the team Matt West, Preston Guilmet and Ronald Torreyes.

Yup. Fo' sure. But we do have one and his name is Osuna. When he came in to K 5 of 6 in the first TB game I was cringing a bit. He is throwing a lot for a kid coming off TJ.

I hope he doesn't continue to be used this much. He is a huge asset going forward.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 What a joke of lineup construction right there... are you going to do anything other than bitch and moan? we get it, you don't like Gibbons. keep the whining about him in the fire gibbons thread.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 What a joke of lineup construction right there... Totally, this offense has been absolutely brutal this year
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Totally, this offense has been absolutely brutal this year just for Sheldon.... http://www.sheldonsfans.com/img_articles/original/90.gif
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 In addition to the option, we also have to keep him on the 40. Not having enough 40 man roster space has already cost the team Matt West, Preston Guilmet and Ronald Torreyes. None of those 3 belong on a 40 man roster. And Matt West hasn't stuck with the Dodgers, Preston Guilmet has been garbage in all his appearances with the Rays, and Ronald Torreyes will likely never make it to the majors. But yes, burning Miguel Castro's option was stupid.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Thanks to Stroman, the Jays have received the third highest fWAR (of all 30 teams) from the 2012 draft so far. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/luhnows-first-astros-draft-class-has-arrived/ http://i.gyazo.com/aada45381b319717ee26f6ce6158d8f8.png
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 The Astros will probably rocket to the top of that list pretty quickly behind McCullers and Correia.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 From the guy that brought you many Blue Jays cartoons in the past... I don't know what the f*** is going on in this video, but I'm posting it for science. 2Knuckles2Hippious:

LTR Verified Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Now we get to see for ourselves if Nick Martinez is really as bad as advanced stats show - this is a guy with the Rangers record for most consecutive starts allowing 3 runs or less.

LTR Verified Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I like our chances tonight. I hope we rape him. No Gallo in the line-up because he sucks vs. lefties I guess. Beltre has been a dud so far this year. Hamilton injured? Fielder and Moreland are the only threat in the line-up *knock on wood*.

Fielder and Hamilton are injured? Their line-up is abysmal without these guys *knocks on wood*. My projections say we have a 99.999% to win. Yours?
