o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I imagine Doubront is the next science experiment, or maybe Norris with his 4.2BB/9 maybe AA can get a trade done before we need to bring a starter up.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 In this specific instance I am referring to Boyd and how Sanchez has all the rope he wants to keep being one of the worst pitchers in baseball because Dumbf*** AA still uses ERA as a front office executive, Dickey sucks and, I dunno, maybe give the f***ing guy a legitimate chance? How any rookie can perform on this team with the threat of a quick demotion looming is beyond me. Pompey could have stroked lineouts every at bat but if his batting average got too low, it's off to AAA. The lack of analyical ability in this f***ing dumb FO is frightening. Bunch of stupid f***ing morons who probably still laugh at teams who are smarter than they are. Wow...just wow lmao
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Confidence=low don't piss on my parade. I'm not in the mood. lol I'm absolutely not holding my breath. but According to the Law of Infinite Probabilities says it's possible. http://i.imgur.com/C4HJeK0.jpg?1

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 wtf if any result is a possibility in an alternate reality at some point mathematically this result can happen. you just need to run the program enough times to get to it.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Wow what? Sanchez one good start all year (his last one). Each start before that subpar. Boyd being sent down is debateable. The bigger question though is should he have been brought up? AA just throwing too much s*** against the wall and hoping for stickage Same issue with Pompey, Norris, Nolin...the trigger finger is quick and decisive. How DARE you try to be a rookie on this team (except Sanchez cuz ERA.)

How DARE you try to be a rookie on this team (except Sanchez cuz ERA.) not the first year this has been happening under AA. SSS is what he lives by. giving starting positions to guys who very limited success and then making a drastic move because the first mistake doesn't work out. it's what he does.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I like that, but clearly that laundry has been folded manually. it's just a theory.... when life looks hopeless, some times you need to use theories to get past the dark times. it's better than Murphy's law even if Murphy's law is what we get most of the time.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Did you just highlight a start where he walked 5 batters in 7 innings while striking out 3 as being "good?" Because that's not very good, and most of those are not very good.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Good weed in Sweden no idea... not many people smoke pot here, but my neighbors do. I don't.

How DARE you try to be a rookie on this team (except Sanchez cuz ERA.) Yeah, I've been bitching about this for awhile. But, it's not just the rookies. It's also the veterans. A guy gets lit up once, and they send him packing. Our Greek GM has to blame someone when something goes wrong. It doesn't create a great atmosphere, and doesn't do much to calm a pitcher's nerves, when he knows one more bad pitch, and he's riding the bus. Especially, with pitchers, you need to give them a medium leash, until they get to the point where they can relax and feel comfortable instead of second-guess themselves. AA doesn't get that.

You retards do realize that pitchers like Sanchez can get away with things that your typical pitcher can't get away with, right? Baseball isn't played in a computer simulation.

theblujay Verified Member Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 New level of dumb: Boxcar and friends thinks Boyd is better than Sanchez. They seem to be unable to see what's actually going on beyond the spreadsheet. Sanchez clearly has much more upside and with improvement has a much higher ceiling. That's why he's given a longer leash: he was improving.
