Notes:

Jays:

  • Hutchison, who showed promising stuff in his first full-length season last year after recovering from Tommy John Surgery in 2013, has scuffled to begin the 2015 season. The strikeouts are down, and he's struggled with hard contact and pitching from the stretch. Hutchison has stranded just 60 percent of his baserunners this season, the seventh-lowest mark among 104 qualified starters.

Indians:

  • Bauer looks to pitch at full strength for the first time since his April 20 start at Chicago. Bauer was scratched from his April 25 start due to illness before making an April 28 start against Kansas City, during which his velocity was notably down and he said after the game he felt like he was pitching at 30 percent. He owns one of the league's best strikeout rates (28.3 percent).

The standings in our division thus far are basically the opposite of what most media "experts" predicted.

Cleveland just throws out talented starter after talented starter...to zero results.

I actually expect a lot from this group once we get into the meat of the season.

At least I hope so for the sake of the nine or ten Indian fans.

Can't believe that with a win today the Jays could be .500. They seem to be playing a lot worse. Offense has been carrying them.

Kluber and Carrasco weren't dominating at all. Average at best

They are still my pick for the AL

They were my pick for the Central, at least. People laughed at me... (they could end up being right at this rate, but it'll only because of the underperformance of an extremely talented Cleveland squad, not because it was a ridiculous pick).

Cleveland's lineup has been very disappointing. Really just Moss and Brantley playing to expectations.

Chisenhall bunted with 2 on and no outs in the 3rd or 4th inning. Tells you need to know about him and Tito

I feel they're playing better, but that's why they play 162 games, it'll straighten itself out.

This is an over .500 team barring major, long term injuries. We'll see what happens.

Offense has been carrying the team, lets hope pitching improves.
