CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Damn, so does that mean that Reyes will go on the DL to start the season? :/
tercet Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Lol I never said anything about Hendriks. It was Jenkins and Boyd. Hendricks is much better than both. Well my point, but whatever u know ur s*** and not a d-bag like njh/bts.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I'll be at tonights game in the west jet area middle of 2nd row routing 4 sanchez 2 fail.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Jeez. SSS but Hendriks 22.1 IP as reliever: 11.28 K/9, 1.61 BB/9, 2.64 xFIP. And if i remember correctly from his last start he had a little more giddy up on his fastball which is not completely surprising.

Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Good chance it's Goins that goes down as Tolleson has much more versatility. Would allow you to use Bautista at 1B and still DH another OF if you needed to. um, sorry Tolleson does NOT have more versatility. He does not play average defence at 2b or SS.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Damn, so does that mean that Reyes will go on the DL to start the season? :/ If Reyes was going on the DL, they woulnd't have had to DFA Redmond to make room for Goins. He's day to day.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 He is in the lineup tonight as well DH?

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Is Reyes hurt? I thought he was starting tonight Someone posted something ITT.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Scott MacArthur Jose Reyes isn't taking pre-game groundballs or BP (on the field at least). He is in the starting lineup. O.K. I totally misread this post. Sorry.
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 They will need to send someone down when Izturis is ready as well, that or dfa Izturis
Sorrow Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 um, sorry Tolleson does NOT have more versatility. He does not play average defence at 2b or SS. I'll be pedantic but Tolleson can play 6 positions, he doesn't play anyone of them very well but he can play them. Goins plays 2 and might be experimenting on a 3rd and 4th, Tolleson is more versatile by definition. I'd rather have Tolleson myself. I like Goins glove but that bat even on the bench doesn't play imo.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Big game tonight. A series loss to the Rays will be deflating
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Dammit its Chris Archer tonight
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Where is Navarro in this lineup? Hopefully on his way to Arizona...
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 With the way this rubber grass is playing, Id like my potential pinch hitters knowing how to bunt... looking at you Goins.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Where is Navarro in this lineup? Hopefully on his way to Arizona... under extra at the bottom
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 under extra at the bottom Whoops... Maybe I got my hopes up too early there.

CrackerJack Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 You are being too kind yeah you're right but I like Steve (and his dad) ... but not enough to keep him around over Goins.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Why would you want a pinch hitter to bunt? Or use Goins as a pinch hitter
