To be fair, in my somewhat limited activity on this board recently I've seen the guy and other obvious troll accounts attack other posters before...

 

all the attacking needs to stop and the posting just to piss people off as well.

 

 

 

if the mod asks nicely in a pm to let things go they need to let it go. I cant ask people to not post stupid things or to be less negative if others continue to bash them even if they try to do better.

It's not permanent yet...I had my own personal reason to not ban him, in the same way I had a reason for pulling a ban out today. Many many many a lot of people need to learn how to deal with a troll on here. DO NOT QUOTE DO NOT RESPOND. If you do I assume this is just a personal fight. Guys that talk negative about the team don't bother me at all.

Yes, I remember.. he had 10 HRs in April 2006(9 of them in the first 13 games!). That would be his peak.. he would be out of the majors the following year, and never reached those levels again due to his high strikeout rate.

There is a fine line between the really stupid and trolls. I'm not around here enough to know the difference half the time. So when I see someone who had very few reported posts (just 5 for SR) and many are responding to his negative posts I just assume either I should ban everyone...or everyone is stupid. Those that responded to SR with intelligent baseball talk got no response from him or he actually talked ball.
