Jays:

• Mark Buehrle earned his career 200th win with a decent outing against the Baltimore Orioles. The veteran southpaw spun 6 innings of 2 run ball against the O's yielding 8 hits paired with 2 walks and a strikeout.
  
• Martin is mired in an 0-for-21 slump. Toronto's everyday backstop is batting .043 and hasn't collected a hit since the season opener against the Yankees.
  

 

Rays:

• Ramirez first start of the season was a disaster against Miami. He gave up a total of 7 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks across only two innings.

I always find it funny when people don't like the move because it doesn't work. People need to understand relievers are going to give up runs. Also chances are a different reliever would of given up a run in that same situation.
