MLB actively monitoring the new RC turf

Buck and Tabby were talking during a recent game that any ball near bunted or chopped near the line rolls off foul. Maybe that has something to do with it if the surface isn't playing like a flat surface.

Maybe they can suck excess rubber off of the field. It seems to have way to much of it embedded in the new surface.

From the reports I have read and seen it has been mainly associated with soccer...but the rubber crap is bad regardless if swallowed

Soccer goalies who don't move around are the ones being affected the most. This was the article we had to write a paper based on.

Considering road teams have dominated us at home you would think they would have great things to say. 2-5 home stand so far. f***ing embarrassing.

 

Bad pitching and bad hitting has done ourselves in...turf hasn't been a factor

It's new and has to be broken in but really? With everything else that can effect the ball and how some parks in the past have had their grounds crew intentionally mow the grass and seed it so it plays to their favour they're going to bitch about the turf? Well, if they're going to have a problem with it let MLB pick up some of the cost to convert the place to natural grass.
