HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-upside-and-downside-of-torontos-young-relievers/ And I agree. We got a Chapman situation on our hands folks.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I think Wainwright was a one inning guy in 2006, so was Price in 2008, Sale was in 2010, but became a multi-inning guy in 2011. If the Jays go that route, awesome. It's 4 games in the season,I have no idea what to make of this yet.

theblujay Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Castro will convert back into a starter. Osuna will probably stay a reliever unless hes moved to a new organization. Why? If anything I think it would be the other way around
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I don't have anything particular against him, but this really made me laugh: ...noted Blue Jays’ blogger Andrew Stoeten...
nutz003 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 It would be nice to see all the young guys have a shot at making the rotation next spring, rather than being pre-cast into a role. If the Jays are going to continue next year with the same philosophy regarding prospect promotion/management, then if Osuna, Castro or Hoffman deserves to be there, I think they should earn the spot regardless as to whether someone started the previous year or not. The best overall arms should be in the rotation pitching 150-200+ innings, rather than 60-100 in the pen. Their rotation is going to be scary 2-3 years down the road if they let the guys who should start actually start.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
