Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Miguel Castro is the youngest pitcher to get a Save against the Yankees
S33n Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I don't mind that Joey and JD are cold. When everyone gets hot at once, they all seem to get cold at once too. It's nice if EE and a few at the bottom of the order are carrying the team now, and by the time they're cooling off, hopefully the meat of the order has started to heat up. Yeah I'm not worried either. They both looked like they're usual self in ST. I think Jose is just pressing a little, for whatever reason.

ColdPint Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Easily as impressive as the raw stuff is Castro's ability to control it. He just pounds the bottom half of the zone over and over again.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Sooo tomorrow we will be seeing no Osuna or Castro, but a combination of Loup, Redmond, Hynes & Hendriks
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 ROFL I just realized..who gets to keep the ball? Norris for 1st career win or Castro for 1st career save? Mmm. You present an interesting dilemma. They each seemingly have a legitimate claim to the ball, and yet the ball can have only one rightful owner. Quite the conundrum. As a federal employee, I believe the law is all we have. It's all that separates us from the savages who don't deserve even the privilege of the daily mail. Stuffing parcels into mailboxes where they don't belong!!...But I have made a decision. We will cut the ball down the middle, and give half to Castro and half to Norris.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 If Castro and Osuna are for real in the pen, then the Jays have four relievers they can count on late in games. That might be enough. Still hate those two being in the bigs right now, though.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Good win after yesterday's tough loss. So Gibbons wouldn't trust Castro yesterday to face Gregorius, but today he trusted him....who knows.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 My Internet s*** the bed around the 6th so I missed the last 3 full innings. Nice to see such strong outings from Castro, Osuna and Cecil today. Norris looked good from what I saw, I get the feeling some control issues were related to the colder weather.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 O's lineup doesn't scare me as much without Markakis and Cruz, I think 1-9 Jays have the more potent lineup. Hopefully Buehrle can have an April like he did last year. Our starting pitching was spectacular this series.

GNick49 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I hope BJ Surhoff isn't in the lineup. He's killed Buehrle. Jeez, I hated that guy...seemed like he killed us. Clutch hit everytime

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 cecil more comfortable in the setup role When was he in the closers role
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Putting in Loup was the right move Don't get me started bro...
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 When he was named the closer. He never pitched a game in that role
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Doesn't matter. No one said anything about pitching in the role...just being in the role. And he was in the closers role. ...besides, since when is a closer only allowed to pitch in the 9th? The closer came into the game in the 8th inning last night and blew the save. Then Osuna came in after the closer to finish the game. It's not complicated. No What was said is that Cecil looks more comfortable in the setup role. The word more is relative and the position cannot be judged unless we see him pitch in the closers role
