Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Yeeeah buddy!! Great start folks!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Great first game!!! Best part about this game IMO was the production we got from the 7-9 spots in the lineup. Pompey, Pillar and Travis looked excellent. Its nice to not have a black hole at the bottom of the lineup. I could get used to this.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Devon Travis is an A1 class act. Love this kid.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Just saw Travis' homerun!!!!!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Devon Travis homered whaaaaaat??????

tpurewal97 Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 what a win , this team is just more exciting than past years , with all the rookies and all. They just seem hungry for success
Statman Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 That was a kick ass start to the season and the team did it without leaning on The GOAT or Donaldson for offensive production. What I found out so quickly watching is how likeable this team with the additions of Martin, Donaldson, Travis and Pompey and young arms like Castro. What a difference than watching teams that sported the likes of Lind, Rasmus, Gose, Lawrie and Arencibia.
HASHTAGYOLOSWAG Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Finally, been waiting years for Gose to help this team.

They just seem hungry for success Well I think a lot of it has to do with what kind of rookies they are. The position players are guys who can hit for contact and are relatively solid in the field. Pillar and Travis don't seem like the type to just be swinging for the fences. I'm a little worried about the pitchers through but Castro looked good today.
johnl Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 way to start the season should be exciting
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 There are eight other games tomorrow though. Baseball is back God bless MLB.tv, I think this could be the best $160 I spent
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Just watched the game, great start!!!!!
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 They don't seem to have the clownish attitude this year. Nice to see Martin and Donaldson bringing some professionalism to the team.
Slugger Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I don't wanna tell you guys that it's one game, but...
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Reyes tried his best to get injured on opening day. 7 posts and nothing but crap to say.... me thinks is troll account... prove me wrong if you want to stay. http://bitsocialmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Internet-Troll.jpg
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I don't wanna tell you guys that it's one game, but... you're correct, it's one game, but it was one hell of a good game. now we need to hope for 161 more good games.
Caper Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Wilner was right.... This team is good. I should never doubted Wilner would lie to me.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 God bless MLB.tv, I think this could be the best $160 I spent It's a must have for people with odd schedules. Woke up around 5, played the game from the beginning with no worries of knowing the score
Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 In case of rain, I believe. I've heard that also, BUT why not the off day. Thursday so they could play that day in case of rain. Having Tuesday off does no good if it rains Tuesday or Wednesday! (not sure if anyone else replied back)
bendera3 Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 It's a must have for people with odd schedules. Woke up around 5, played the game from the beginning with no worries of knowing the score When I first got it I was upset that they showed the score of the games until I realized I could turn off that feature. I share the cost with my brother and it's nice that I can watch any game without having to worry about what time it starts.
Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Well that was an easy third of an inning for Castro. Never really thought about this before but I guess pitchers do get credited with registering an out. Wonder if Elias has any stat for a pitcher getting the most 'outs' a year via a CS? Imagine collecting a huge bonus for a low ERA by .001 due to a few freebie outs like this!

For me its also a big convenience to have access to every game without looking for s***** streams lol
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 That's true! For me its also a big convenience to have access to every game without looking for s***** streams lol Even if you find a stream that doesn't lag, it won't be HD. Also, you can't watch a s***** stream on your phone. And you can watch 4 games at once with MLB.TV (which I did for the 4 pm slate). MLB.TV is the best.
