I'm aware of the punctuation thing, but I figured the humour trumped the accuracy of how hashtags work.

Well good thing he didn't credit his own hard work and struggle, or all the coaches and mentors that helped him on the way. All god baby.

Is that the same god Norris cheers for? Could this cause friction?

Technically all Christians, Muslims and Jews worship the same main god so I think we are OK.

True, In one way or another we all worship the Based God.

This is the result of AA not acquiring relievers during the off season

A decision most of this board supported

Remember when we thought the team had signed Belisario and everyone was happy but you?

Except then he optioned 3 likely better relievers in favor of Castro and Osuna

Osuna's going to be okay, imo, he's gotta a major league slider and a feel for pitching that is advanced. He only threw ~30 innings last year, i'm not sure logging 65-100 as either a conventional reliever or a multi inning reliever will really hurt his development. The controlability factor sucks because i think he'll be a star but i'm also looking forward to watching him.

The notion that due to his IP limitations, throwing 65-100 innings vs major leaguers is more developmentally valuable than 100-120 against minor leaguers is actually pretty interesting. However, in this particular case the severe lack of minor league experience is concerning, if he's over matched it's mutually detrimental.

I'm just worried if he can't handle it or runs into a bad stretch and has to work on somethings, they've burnt an option year on the kid like some have mentioned. So far this spring he's looked fantastic but that doesn't mean jack when the season starts. It's all back to 0s and then it's for real and matters.

Best of luck to him since I'm interested in seeing him pitch at the level and want him to thrive. I just find it odd they optioned Delabar down, when he was doing OK, let Drabek go on waivers, when they could have used those two and if they faltered then turned to guys like Osuna. But I guess when you're as hot as he was this spring he kind of forced himself for consideration and the Jays might be trying to at least bring the best they can, or make it look that way.

Something has to finally go our way after 21 years.

I wouldn't be surprised if Osuna gets sent down to be stretched out in a few months, If Sanchez gets moved to the pen it's guaranteed.

Both of those guys should be developing their skills in the minors. And probably the other young ones too.

It's all about a desperate Gm..whom I don't blame because Rogers would not make the required money available.

They could be served well by having big league coaches. It's not about a desperate gm so much as wanting to win. If AA was desperate he would have moved more talent in the offseason.
