Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 every team has depth confirmed. When people say depth they mean decent to quality depth, depth is useless if it's garbage. Our depth isn't useless or garbage...its unknown.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Our depth isn't useless or garbage...its unknown. LOL, it being unknown and unproven makes it not good. It is unlikely either Norris or Sanchez are even ready to be everyday starters.

ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I guess no team should ever play a rookie then. Let's just end the sport after the last player turns 40 Nice strawman argument you created...never said rookies should never play. Rookies that barely played past AA ball are not to be relied on for 2 starting rotation spots.............. Not every rookie is treated equally. we needed more starting pitching and the Org failed period.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 You're a f***ing moron. Tell me why you can take a person's misunderstanding of a situation and completely s*** down their throat. WTF does that make you?
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 If we had Lawrie still Stroman would have never tried for the ball cause he knows it's Lawries no matter what Where did you find that crystal ball? Donaldson is ten times the player Lawrie is, nor do you know what happened.
King Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 What are you, a f***ing moron? Someone can't joke around to help with this devastating news? Go take that "kick me" sign off your back you f***ing clueless moron. Tell me why you can take a person's misunderstanding of a situation and completely s*** down their throat. Let's just end the sport after the last player turns 40 Nobody said anything about not playing rookies. We are saying you can't count on YOUNG UNPROVEN players to provide you with quality depth.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 It's obvious you don't understand how talented Norris and Sanchez are. I know full well but they are NOT ready. talented is not the same as MLB ready. You are on drugs if you think both are MLB starter ready.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Donaldson fault. AA, trade him for Pedro Alvarez.

ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Found Gruber on twitter Why would you want to go there lol.
Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I can't f***ing believe this. I'm crushed and I can't even imagine how Stroman feels right now. So f***ing despaired.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 That Ross guy is getting roasted by everyone including Keith Law. What an idiot.
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Nobody said anything about not playing rookies. We are saying you can't count on YOUNG UNPROVEN players to provide you with quality depth. Also, depth is generally meant for stop gaps from shorter stint injuries. While temp injuries are inevitable they don't usually come with replacing a pitcher of Stroman's caliber for an entire season from within an organization.

We are saying you can't count on YOUNG UNPROVEN players to provide you with quality depth. You can count on them. Every team does it. You just don't count on 20 of them each year. 1 or 2 is perfectly reasonable.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 http://i.imgur.com/EKwuS3K.png LOL embarassing. Twitter is where you see human stupidity at its best.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Well this sucks! By the way he should be out there doing bunts it's part of the game. Just one of those bad luck things
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 You can count on them. Every team does it. You just don't count on 20 of them each year. 1 or 2 is perfectly reasonable. Name another team that wants to contend this year who have 2 guys with ZERO starts and barely played past AA ball, are the 2 guys who they are relying on for depth in the rotation? every team relies on some young guys, not like this or this unproven however.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 jesus christ guys stop looking for someone to blame for this, it's futile Right. It's just s***** freaky horrible bad luck.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 It wasn't a misunderstanding, it was a stupid joke. You're an idiot. So my joke being stupid IN YOUR OPINION gives you the right to call someone an idiot? Would you have said that to me or someone else if we were all hanging out at a game or wherever? No, you would have kept your mouth shut and kept your opinion to yourself or say how stupid my comments were later on to someone else without me being present, right? So tell me why you wouldn't do the same here instead of s***ing on myself or anyone else. Show some respect for others, even if you are protected in cyberspace. Grow up.
