Not sure why Redmond would sign elsewhere, he was getting quite a bit of playing time with the Jays.

 

Redmonds hard-on for AA dissipated with his departure.

Apparently Karns or Elias for Ozuna. That makes more sense than Walker.

 

Great deal for the M's either way. Karns is a bit better than Elias, who probably isn't an average SP.

I do not like that the Mariners appear to be smart now. I miss Jack Z already.

 

Weird to see Dipoto away from the Angels.

 

Makes me think about how much undeserved credit or scorn other GMs get. They are the face of the franchise, even if they aren't the master.

According to multiple sources, the A's have reacquired Jed Lowrie in a trade with the Astros.

 

So he gets traded to the Astros... traded to the A's... signs back with the Astros... and then gets traded to the A's again? Super weird.
