Why is a 34-year-old fighting a 22-year-old? Like, at worst Papelbon should just not give a f*** about what Harper says because he's a goddamned kid. Add to the fact that Pap himself is a newcomer to the club that is only above .450 because of Harper.

Also, KC announcers explaining 'soft hands'. "It's not about palmolive soft hands. It's the give. It's about the give. ... Turns that ball into a marshmallow."

Lmfao the O's just got shutout in 3 straight games.

I'm so happy that awful team is fading back to irrelevancy. No Davis or Chen next year either.

And in a few more days, the Jays will be celebrating their AL East title on their field, especially once the Red Sox destroy the Yanks pitching staff.

Harper doesn't like him, makes me like Harper that much more. f*** you Pigf***er

Why is he called pigf***er by some? I have no idea, and I am honestly asking?

I'm expecting some, and I hope they don't hurt Joey or JD. That's my concern at the moment.

Was Papelbon yelling at Harper for not running something out?

Cardinals closer Trevor Rosenthal just imploded, giving up a grand slam to Jason Rogers...don't the Cards realize that the Pirates could catch them this week?

I'm sure they would have decided to win today if they knew what the standings looked like.

Yes. With a series with Pittsburgh coming up, a Pirates win tonight on Sunday Night Baseball would put Pittsburgh within 2 games, with a shot to catch the Cardinals with a sweep.

Sounded like Papelbon was trying to give Harper some hitting advice. So glad we didn't get him, he's a horrible team mate.

If i'm the manager, i suspend Papelbon, the dumb ass almost killed their franchise.

Indians lose. With an Astros win, that should put an end to any false hope of Cleveland making a postseason run. Still, they can spoil the Twins chances.. and the Astros go on the road to Seattle and Arizona to finish their schedule (29-46 on the road). Could be a interesting finish.

And the Angels, with the Rangers losing, can make a run at a division title, as they have a 4-game set with the Rangers in Texas, who they dominate. First, they got to beat Seattle today.

God Papelbon is such a ****. If Harper wasn't there, your team wouldn't have a prayer you f***stain.

Unbelievable

In the post game he was all "I'm gonna talk to our manager about it, we're brothers and we'll all be OK and back together next year"

FFS if he thinks he and Matt Williams are gonna be there next year I just...

The Angel are an intimidating team now that they are getting hot, and considering the players they have such as Trout and Pujols. I hope the Blue Jays won't meet them in the first round.

Angels don't concern me in the least.

I'm completely comfortable with the Jays going up against any of the Wild Card teams not named the Yankees. I almost hope the Twins get in, bounce the Yankees, and then show up back in Toronto for another one-sided beatdown.
