G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Except for 2006, Delgado never played for a winner... cheap ownership at the time and the Yanks dynasty didn't help. 1998 was the closest he got as a Blue Jay to the postseason.. ruined by the Yanks 114 win season (we'll never see anyone reach that again with increased parity in the game.) Playing for a loser never stopped Halladay from being touted as the best pitcher in baseball or winning Cy Young awards

By the time Halladay retired, the Phils were awful.

Reds looked like a sign of things to come, but it sure didn't turn out that way. Kinda sad.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I really like Chris Archer, as a person. Pitcher, he's a badass!
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 It seemed to the broadcasters that he asked for time on that K pitch and wasn't given it either and got tossed after telling his manager. Then he lost his s***. His helmet smash is almost at Lawrie's level but in a smarter direction. This is exactly what happened, he asked for time and would'nt ever receive it, he said it to his manager and was tossed, there's no way he gets suspended, they even have it in chosen words to the ump, lol. Just terrible, all the way around...#umpshow being the worst.

Swervin81 Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Meanwhile, news that will shock everyone: A Royals pitcher threw at somebody! This time, Morales at Chris Davis. Showalter was pissed and got tossed. Now I LOATHE the O's... but given this is the 6th time the Royals have tried to or have started s*** with another team this year, I can't give KC the benefit of the doubt and have to side with the O's on this one. Now, to take a hot shower and wash the dirtiness of that last bit off. That said, do I feel bad for the O's at all being victimized? Hahahahahaha, nope.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 O's hit two grand slams in the same inning... who's being victimized. I meant by the Royal's antics... certainly not by their pitching LOL. 2 grand slams, 10 runs in the inning. That's pretty.... conflictingly awesome. Conflicting because f*** the O's, but awesome because... well, yeah, the couldn't happen to a nicer team.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 O's hit two grand slams in the same inning... who's being victimized. lol..is that what preceded Davis getting hit? What a garbage franchise the Royals are
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 lol..is that what preceded Davis getting hit? What a garbage franchise the Royals are Nope. The 2nd slam happened after. But Morales was getting hit around before Davis came to the plate
