bendera3 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 John Farrell >> Kevin Cash I know it doesn't mean anything but I always trade for Kevin Cash in Baseball Mogul '06 because he makes all my pitchers better than they are. His 95 defense and 95 handling makes me happy.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 The O's are good at baseball or are the Indians just crap? The Indians have such a good rotation. Not sure why they have been so bad this year. Klubar, Carrasco, and Salazar are f***ing good.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 The Indians have such a good rotation. Not sure why they have been so bad this year. Klubar, Carrasco, and Salazar are f***ing good. Unfortunately, the offense has disappointed, the defense (especially in the OF) is awful, and they lack a decent 5th starter. Especially the D.. put these pitchers on the Jays and they likely are near double-digits in wins by now. Most of Cleveland's problem is their terrible defense.. and they haven't scored either. Most of the real issues is with poor spending of their money.. blowing dollars on Nick Swisher and Michael Bourn is coming back to haunt them. Neither of them should be near the big league roster at this point.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Orioles can f*** off anytime now. The ******** that took place last year is not happening again. Maybe Texas can take care of that this week.. And Tampa fans are probably already not only fretting of the Yankees, Orioles and Jays catching them(everyone's only 1 game back of them, and the Orioles will tie them for 1st at the end of tonight), but every loss increases the chance Rays ownership blows up their roster(including trading Longoria) due to the franchise's financial and attendance issues and risk of being relocated due to the stadium being basically unsuitable for baseball.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 we really need to kick the s*** out of Boston for 4 games. can't let them back into things.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 f***ing Dickey tomorrow .... win streak buster. #HomeRuns #PassedBalls #Walks #WildPitches #GoodTimes
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Seriously, the Orioles have gotten way too much good fortune the past few years. Their schedule in the next week or so looks fairly easy too. I don't see them losing very often.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 13-11 win tomorrow. Let's go!! Yeah, no.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 f***ing Dickey tomorrow .... win streak buster. #HomeRuns #PassedBalls #Walks #WildPitches #GoodTimes If Boston even had its full roster. No Pedroia, and possibly no HanRam either, as he looks DL bound as well as he cannot swing a bat right now. The only reason they won the Tampa series was because the Rays can't buy more than 3 runs a game right now.. same reason the Jays took 2/3 from the Rays. And Dickey hasn't been that bad..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Erik Kratz cleared waivers and ended up in Pawtucket. Guess the other 29 teams feel the same way the Jays felt about him... no more than minors filler even despite his D.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Middlebrooks slipped on a bat left on the on deck circle by the Dbacks pitcher http://screengrabber.deadspin.com/will-middlebrooks-injured-by-stray-bat-while-attempting-1714547914?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow Didn't former Blue Jay Michael Barrett do the same thing and ended up missing the rest of the season?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 O's are a good team, it's time some people here gave them credit.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 O's are a good team, it's time some people here gave them credit. Agreed. And unlike Tampa, they haven't gotten fat on sub-.500 teams.. they've actually beaten the Yankees, Jays, Rays and Red Sox. It's part of the reason they'll be contending with the Yanks and Blue Jays for a postseason berth while Tampa ends up finishing 4th.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Machado is good too. On pace for +30 hr. Always viewed him as a 20 HR guy. In a few years he'll move back to SS
LTR Verified Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Nolan Arenado I had no idea his numbers were that insane. I knew he was good but holy f***. The crazy thing is he's putting up more of those numbers on the road (not at Coors!).
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 And Sunday night baseball is back on!
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 in less than an hour it'll be Monday Morning Baseball

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 ^ not to mention that elite manager they have
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I hate watching Cardinal games. The Yadier Molina love affair is nauseating. You watch these games and you'd believe that Molina is the best catcher to ever play the game.
KIllerSloth Verified Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 O's are a good team, it's time some people here gave them credit. They are, more worried about the O's then any other team in the division.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 The way the standings are right now: Baltimore or Rays win division Baltimore or Rays win WC-1 Yankees win WC-2 Jays finish 4th...! Sounds about right.
baubau Verified Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 O's are good. But they can still go suck Donaldson's cock.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 The other day Sportsnet did a baseball plays of the week segment and Brock Holt's cycle was #3 or 4. Outside of its rarity, what's so great about a cycle? It's just a numerical quirk because 1-2-3-4. You know what's better than a cycle? A single, double, and two homer game. Or a single and three homers. Or two doubles and two homers. No-hitters and perfect games are notable because they are accomplishments of the highest baseball order. A cycle is neat, but that's it. Show me four home runs or stfu.
