The hind-sight is glorious though...either you saw the breakdown or you didn't. I saw great potential to win a pennant, I was also looking at a potential disaster, it seems to be taking the latter. s*** happens and time moves on, I wish people would hold their strength on, like many few do. Well, besides the troglodytes, we all hoped, but folks like Hurl/BTS/Smokey have never liked our FO amongst others, the season will unfold and the moves in itself will be rather interesting, does AA have money or not, etc, etc, will he be locked down, who knows!

Play on kids...

So anyone that does not conform to your views is a troll??? Yep you really do have the maturity of a 6 year old.

Really looking forward to today's baseball: Alvarez, Syndergaard and DeSclafani all pitching at 1pm!

On another note, rumour has it that Sean Nolin is next in line for a call up to the A's after being optioned to AAA and continuing his rehab. One to look out for certainly.

Finally, although this may belong in the minor league thread (and apologies if that's true), Kendall Graveman is pitching today against the Marlins "top prospect" Justin Nicolino when the Nashville Sounds face the NO Zephyrs at 2:05pm.

The Kazmir/Samardzija is one to watch for sure, even though they both pitch for poorer teams. I think the best games today from a purely neutral perspective should be KC vs NYY in their rubber match and Tigers vs Cardinals at 8pm.

Damn I love baseball, even if the Blue Jays drive you to the sauce regularly!

Syndergaard just strikes out Davis with a 98mph fastball after an 80mph curveball!

And just came super close to completely rolling his ankle. Eeeek

DeSclafani and Alvarez getting rocked by the Giants and Braves respectively. Syndergaard pitching really well into the 5th, but it's against the Brewers so....

Syndergaard pitched 6 innings, 1 ER, 3 hits, 5 SO and 1 walk in his second major league start. His control definitely needs some more work, but his stuff is excellent. Hit 99 mph on his fastball with movement and his curveball is crisp. Still a work in progress obviously.

Well, the Marlins management punished the team for nearly being no hit by firing Mike Redmond and Rob Leary:

How about cash considerations for Cordier? Or put a claim on him, and DFA Andrew Albers.

Redmond was hired out of the Jays system. Coached the Lansing Lugnuts to the best record in franchise history and also coached for the Dunedin Blue Jays. I wonder if Toronto will try to get him back into the organization.

Hopefully to replace Gibbons...

Red Sox embarrassing themselves again in Seattle. James Paxton is carving up that lineup..of course, the Sox can't hit lefties at all. Between us, the Orioles and the Red Sox.. the East is garbage! And even the Yanks are showing signs of fading.

Kinda sorta.. but I'm cheering for the Astros to succeed (when they're not facing the Jays.) But it would be nice if the Jays would get their mess cleaned up..

Looks like everyone and their dog is rumored to take the Marlins job. First I hear Jeff Conine, then I hear Brett Butler, then Bo Porter, Ron Renokie, then Pudge Rodriguez. Now I see that their GM Dan Jennings might take over? Sheesh lol
