Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 If true someone needs to fire the manager. Some injury sustained in between innings is the only excuse.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Calm down, it might be in case he gets in trouble
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Calm down, it might be in case he gets in trouble Indians broadcast showed him with the handshake and Allen's in the BP. He's done.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 The 20 strikeout game is 10x better than the perfect game. Pure dominance >>>> relying on your defense.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Francona will get bombarded after the game
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 That's some ******** from Francona. Not letting your pitcher attempt to get the record is bush league.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 WTF? I feel so cheated. Unbelievable. f*** Francona.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Harvey is f***in dealing, hasn't even been behind a hitter yet tonight.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Anyone see the call in the Dodgers game? Replay is broken.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Guys, Francona was ejected in the fourth inning. Please direct your anger at the bench coach of the Indians.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Am I the only one who just saw Dickerson's throw? Just wow.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Hah, he walks Bourjos and Carpenter hits a dinger off Rzep!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 What a joke the Rays are! Despite a winning record, fans are staying away in droves, even for the Yankees. So far this season, only 15,398 average are showing up in St. Pete, and dropping as we speak. For their "Top up the Trop" promotion, only 11,924 showed up. Do you think the fans are being apathetic and feel the team is headed for Montreal?
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 pedostache Rogers in the game so early and gives up a 3run homer on the first pitch lol

Do you think the fans are being apathetic and feel the team is headed for Montreal? Probably moving, but I don't know if Montreal is in the cards. Florida is filled with retirees who already root for their home teams. It's actually kinda neat when you find a bar/restaurant that is themed for a sports team that isn't native to the area. It's the only state that will have Phillies themed bars that aren't in PA or southern Jersey.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 A lot of people here would support a team in Montreal over the Jays. ^^
LTR Verified Member Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Usually you can rely on your pitching staff to get you some wins.... the Blue Jays not so much.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Padres fans might be the worst in the league. Watching them play the Nats, Harper up to bat and some guy yells "they're only playing you because they're paying you!". Ya, 2.5M to be worth more than your entire OF.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Kemp/Upton/Myers- 0.7 WAR Harper 2.2 WAR

The group included high-ranking evaluators from the Blue Jays and Padres." http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/05/al-east-notes-kelly-cueto-whitley-harvey.html What do you guys think it would take to land Cueto?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I briefly watched Cueto pitch yesteday..but is his fastball that slow? I saw a few 90-92's..I'm hoping that not four-seamer velocity.

Probably intentionally changing speeds, he hasn't really lost velocity, and K% still there http://www.fangraphs.com/pitchfx.aspx?playerid=6893&position=P&pitch=FA
SaskJaysFan_2 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Why trade the farm for Cueto? We'd still have 3 more starting rotation holes to fill.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
