I don't really get why people get so upset with these types of phrases.......If you listened to every home game, they would get very repetitive (like the come together commercials during Jays games), but I see nothing wrong with it.

No one gets upset per say... it's just annoying as hell. I can't stand watching highlights from him and if he was our voice it'd be on mute with the radio going.

Today Buck said he doesn't see how you can play Saunders. "I know [saunders] is a lefty, but Pillar has been playing well. He has 8 RBI and has some highlight reel catches. Maybe Saunders against the tough righties."

Buck and Tabler are pretty bad, jesus.

I had no problem with Boni using their bond over common nationality to calm the motherf***er down. I didn't feel like he was acting against the interest of his team by doing that.

I did - Ventura deserves to be knocked. out. cold. He should have used his nationality to calm him down and then sucker punched the punk to teach him a lesson.

f*** Ventura. So tired of his BS. I wish Shark or Sale could teach him a lesson.

Hawk Harrelson is a vet. At least he doesn't give false hopes to Sox fans on warning track flyballs like Buck does (-_-)'

you obviously have not listened to Hawk. he's as bad if not worse.

Source: Josh Hamilton could be gone from Angels in matter of days

http://www.si.com/mlb/2015/04/24/josh-hamilton-leaving-los-angeles-angels

f*** the Angels for this. If he was still playing well, they wouldn't even consider this. They give zero f***s about whether or not Hamilton "...pledges himself to the American public and to the Club to conform to high standards of personal conduct, fair play and good sportsmanship."

This is old news, but thanks for introducing me to Svetlana Bilyalova...*drools*.

The article was written today. The last report I read said he was expected to report to extended spring training soon.

I despise him as well. Im curious to know what the majority of the sox fanbase thinks of him

Not to bring up in older post, but anyways, in the '80s-'00s the White Sox fan base adored Hawk probably at 75%-25% ratio. His homerism was too much for some but most loved his passion. Now it's probably 40-60. He can't call games anywhere near when he was in full health. He's in a his seventies and the Sox org is kind of stuck with him for better or worse.

I love this thread though. You guys do a great job in here, it's a great catch all after a long day at the diamond.

Players really shouldn't be using twitter.

Sure they are. Just because a couple people use it badly doesn't mean all players should not use it. Look at Stroman.. he uses social media perfectly. Norris uses it very well too.

I wonder if money goes with him or players like choo go the other way?

I dunno. I can't imagine Choo just because the length of his contract. I would think that if the Angels were trying to get rid of Hamilton it would be more of a salary dump. But what do I know?

And why would the Rangers want to be dumped on?

Daniels is a top-5 GM, according to some posters here, but we'll see what happens.

I don't know. The only thing I could think of in that situation is maybe Daniels might try to get out of Choo's contract by getting Hamilton's shorter one?
