Is Uehara even throwing fastballs this year or is it 100% splitters so far?

Mostly splitters.. and those are down in velocity too. Lough's walk-off HR was a 76 mph meatball..

Big shocker there. NL Central, NL West, AL West, AL East probably all "tougher" divisions.

My rankings NL Central, NL West, AL Central (Cleveland is still my pick to win the AL), AL East (only cause there aren't any bad teams, no good ones either), AL West (Seattle is terrible, Houston isn't for real, Angels are a Trout injury away from being nothing), NL East.

Good news for the Jays.. Red Sox pitcher Wade Miley got knocked out early, lasting just 2.1 IP as he wasn't fooling anyone (and his control was awful.). So we'll be seeing a tired Sox bullpen and a demoralized team as well.. hey, at least it's someone other than Tampa for the Jays! I don't really want to see the Rays again for a while..

No-one does. Not even their own fans apparently.

Looking forward to watching Morrow and Woj. Should be fun. DeSclafani pitched well for the Reds over 5 but was badly let down by his defense.

Well, Toronto and Baltimore are the first to score 100 runs in the AL... and Boston is first to give up 100, as their pitching staff has been nuked by the O's.. it's 18-4 now in favour of the O's! Boston now has the worst run differential in the AL East (-10) in a mediocre division with no real dominant teams. What's your bet huge changes are made in Boston after this game?

UPDATE: Make that 18-7.. HanRam just homered vs. soon to be DFAd Rule 5 pick Jason Garcia.

Woj blew up real good vs A's in 4th (has given up 5 runs in 4 innings to this point), Graveman apparently has been sent down to AAA and Morrow has pitched 6 strong innings allowing just one run so far to the Dodgers.

The odious Royals have lost two today to the White Sox. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Morrow excellent again for the Padres: 7 innings, 102 Pitches, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO.

Does anyone have a link to the NY subway game tonight? Why the f*** is TSN streaming only the Raptors and TFC until 9pm? Ridiculous.

subway series?

Yep, sorry. I have a pretty good stream at the moment at this link:

http://streamhd.eu/stream/watch-live-streaming/New-York-Mets-vs-New-York-Yankees/1/597.

I cannot believe TSN - do we really need 4 of their 5 channels to watch the Raptors roll over and die in game 4?

Addendum: It's already 5-2 Yankees. By the time TSN gets it s*** together and streams the game it'll be all over! Which moron did the program scheduling for TSN tonight?

Is anyone else conspicuous of A-Rod's hot start? He hasn't hit this good in 7 years. You don't just take a year off baseball and come back better than ever... especially at nearly age 40... training with Barry Bonds in the offseason... he's most definitely on some concoction of drugs.

He played for about 2 months at the end of 2013... not sure you can say that's "2 years off"... still more like 1.

is that a "good god he's terrible" or a "good god he's back to 2014 form"

The latter. He made the Mets look silly. Painting 98 at the knees and throwing the breaking ball wherever he wanted.
