This deal was reported to being as high as ~$4.5 million at one point. Anything up to that number shouldn't be a surprise at all.

Sounds like we had max pool for about 2.25M and Vlad is getting over 4M. Would be very foolish if we are getting the max penalty and only sign him, we should go all out.
