One of my best friends lives there. Built an eye hospital that he's now having to sell and he's moving away. It's nice down by Queens where he lives but other than that yeah there's not a lot there.

I live downtown, and it's not a bad place to be. It definitely has that small-town/college-town feel to it, though.

It has its pros and cons like any city. Im usually there 5 or 6 times a year but from my experiences the pros are:

Downtown everything is close

Some pretty good bars

Down by the lake is really nice in the summer

 

Cons:

Winter is terrible, seems they get the most snow of any city outside Ottawa

Besdies Frontenac and Queens games there are no sports.

Nothing to do really

********. Guy is dumb as dirt. Has a ton of trouble with da Engrish. And statistics is supposed to be his wheelhouse, but he totally f***ed up applying them to the world of finance, in a way I'd expect from a high school kid with no exposure to statistics. He's the most obnoxious, but not even in the top 20 of brightest intellects on the board.
