Marcus Stroman, RHP

10-6, 3.80 ERA

Stroman tied a career high by allowing five earned runs during his last start against the Orioles. He is 9-6 with a 3.31 ERA over 114 1/3 innings after beginning his big league career out of the bullpen. He also has a 3.22 ERA against the AL East.

Chris Capuano, LHP

1-2, 4.56 ERA

Capuano earned the right to stick in the rotation, limiting the Rays to two hits over six scoreless innings in his last start, on Sept. 15 at Tropicana Field. He has held the Jays to four runs in 12 1/3 innings as a starter this year.

Last night it looked like Gose didn't run out an infield grounder in the 9th that should have been a base hit. I wonder if that is why he is sitting? However, I would much rather see Pompey playing in cf.

We dont deserve any luck.According to Blue-Jay Central... Buerhle,Dickey,and Bob Stanley said,quite a few of the players attitudes really suck,and they quit trying/playing hard.They didnt use those words but it was clear.

If it was a RHP Gose would be playing and Pillar is out. Gibbons said Pompey will get a look for the rest of the season.
