jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Oh FFS....Put Lind in.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Yes. Let's put Kawasaki in over Lind. Makes perfect sense to me.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Well, their manager is worse than Gibbons in Ned Yost. I mean, using Crow vs. Nava yesterday? That's a fireable offense. Well, Yost's team is actually overachieving. Gibby's teams are always playing below expectations, and in a good year they are .500. He's terrible.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Don't hold your breath if they still have Showalter they'll be competitive. Not even Showalter can help if they don't have the pieces to contend.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Kawasaki just killed someone in the dugout, FFS. Who is that?

Vincent Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 Lol... HOW CAN KAWASAKI BE OUR PINCH HITTER.
Vincent Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 I'm glad I'm not watching... I don't have to witness Kevin Pillar flail away at pitches
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I want Alex and Gibbons fired after this season. The lineups and managing has been atrocious. As if they don't give a s*** that they are within striking distance of a playoff spot for the first time in 20 years.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Pillar has the worst plate discipline.
Vincent Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 Pillar has the worst plate discipline. Should not even be in the majors... imagine when the reports get around about his discipline... he'll never see another strike again.

What a lineup... no imagination,or message saying that we are a team that will try anything smart to win.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 True Jays fashion......runner at 2nd no outs and we get............zilch!
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Pillar has the worst plate discipline. Looks like he may have changed his stance, which was fine the way it was before.

And Alex likely keeps his job because of the development of the young pitchers.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 That's more reasonable. I mean, AA's done a good job bringing up our young pitchers. But choosing managers has not been his strong point.. Farrell is garbage in both Toronto and Boston(and will likely be fired this off-season by the Red Sox), and Gibbons is mediocre at best.

Cant believe it.All these gifts tonite....Shields is losing,Sea may not win a game in Anaheim, and Gibbons tosses a lineup like this tonite.

He went right hand heavy. What alternative was better? Who would u rather gibbons start?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He went right hand heavy. What alternative was better? Who would u rather gibbons start? The lineup was ok i guess. Having Joey Bats play CF over Pillar was really frigging dumb.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He went right hand heavy. What alternative was better? Who would u rather gibbons start? Sometimes ,not all the time, but sometimes pitchers have a hard time throwing lefty v lefty,or righty v righty Plus its not the lineup,so much as the order.Whats wrong with having some speed at the top of the lineup.Reyes is clearly hampered by his hamstring. Give him some support.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Bautista trying to play hero even though we need 3 runs Still gets the walk though.

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Lol this team f***ing blows. They need to sign a decent starter this offseason. And re sign Melk. Otherwise, meaningless baseball in June will make its way back for us.
