John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He was upset that Joseph stepped on his hand on the transfer, probably just a reflex. Yeah likely, I know I always get instantly more pissed off when I'm in pain.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Hardly. They've really never had a truly talented enough team to make noise. The core right now is half decent, but the FO surrounded them with scrubs and spare parts, while trading away a huge chunk of young talent. You don't win that way. The Orioles have been good for a while now since they got Schowalter built around Jones and Writers and focused on efficiency rather then trading for big shot has been They have above average fielding at every position

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 "Blue jays grinding him out" Shut the f*** up tabler you ignorant f***ing bore That's the worst part. In 20 years there has been only two jays commentators worth listening to other than Tom Cheek. Jerry How arth and Alan Ashby
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I always think the fans are chanting "Let's go home" in Baltimore. lol

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 If we're going to pull Stroman can we get Norris or Graveman into the game?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 FFS just find a way to win this.

comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Amazing.... for those who know baseball history, Whitey Ford, and Gary Matthews did Jay games.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Pillar makes JPA Arencibia look like Bautista at the plate.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Tie game here we come.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Sure, Colby PH vs. a lefty, way to play the reverse psychology card, maybe Showalter will switch to the RHP next time.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Gibbons strikes again.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Obvious mismatch is obvious.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Gibbons is a good manager when everyone is healthy, and no injuries are possible.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 why pinch hit rasmus there? Gibbons had a vision.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 why pinch hit rasmus there? Because he wanted to strike out with more flair than Goins would have?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I don't get that at all. That's just dumb
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 The Orioles have been good for a while now since they got Schowalter built around Jones and Wieters and focused on efficiency rather then trading for big shot has been They have above average fielding at every position Yes, but after this season, it will get more difficult for Baltimore to keep this team together. Hardy is a free agent and is likely headed to the Yankees or another SS needy club for the highest bidder, which won't be Baltimore. And Markakis is free agent bound as the O's aren't touching that $17.5M option. The problem is that Baltimore lacks the deep pockets of the Yankees, Red Sox and Blue Jays to keep their team together (this is their first $100M+ payroll EVER).. and they have a ton of arb raises and options coming up on their pitching, bullpen, and the suspended Chris Davis.

Even with those loses they look overall better than the Jays

Their lineup might take a hit but their SP could improve quite a bit.

We hope it will get more difficult for them. With guys like Duquette, and Showalter, they will still be tough to beat.
