Unbelievable.

You might as well have put a monkey out there to pitch, low-IQ swings.

Awful, truly awful game. Not postseason worthy.

And the question that still needs to be asked: Why the f*** is Pillar playing everyday against RHP?

don't get it one bit. My guess is that they know he batted .310 against RHP in Buffalo. Got to admit though a pitcher that just throws fastballs is one that Pillar could match up well against.

Random comment, I'm pretty sure this loss would have been less despairing if it had been Longoria who hit the homerun, and even less if it was a mammoth. To lose on a wall scraper from a guy who has a career ISO of 0.84 is just...

and replace him with?

A catcher who knows how to catch? His bat is okay for a catcher but his defense and complete lack of speed negate a ton of his value

No dude, he had an era over 5 in AAA, he sucks!!!!!!!!

I miss the days when TB pitching call-ups would get eaten alive by Blue Jays hitters.

Reyes and the 1,2 pitch outs late in games.. that has to stop.

Lind should be fined for refusing to take a walk on 6+ pitches nowhere near the plate. Good teams know when to play small ball. When you are down one run with less than 2 outs, homerun swings at wild pitches are not the answer. It was Balfour for f***s sake, not Kimbrel.
