JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Don't worry...McGowan will pitch just well enough for AA to pick up his $4M option next year and then cry about not having money to resign other players or pick up FA/trades.
Molitor Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 These guys remind me of my slo-pitch team. Our team captain and organizer is a huge whiner and it's like it has a contagious effect on the rest of the team. No call is every correct. Close play at first base? We've been robbed. Get thrown out by 8 feet? No way, he got under the tag. Foul out? Wtf ump, the pitch was too low. Queue the angry bat toss and ejection. Then queue the in-fighting and bitching at each other. In the end it may not matter if there's a dearth of leadership in a game like baseball (aside from losing your best player in an ejection), but I will say from personal experience that that type of attitude and environment is not fun to be around.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Oh come on. Hung around home plate for like 10-15 seconds and the ump still gave him a chance to go back to the dugout. He 100% deserved to be tossed. I also agree with this. He took way too long standing around after being called out. Head back to the dugout and let your manager deal with it.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 OK I take it back today, Dusty. GJ
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 C'mon Melky, don't be slumpin'
IBTrini Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 At the game Bautista is a selfish moron... I won't say it is selfish but kit sure was a brain-fart. This team needs to lay off of the beans - too much nonsense taking place.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Lind solo shot! make it happen!
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Ya. This makes me a little nervous.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Sigh. At least it's the bottom of the order.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Yep yep season on the line herw
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Double play, make it happen CJ!
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 CJ is done, bring in Santos
joehammer55 Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 What is Colby Rasmus' walk up song?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Why would Gibbons bring Janssen into a tie game when he's been s*** for awhile now.... Anyway, whatever...
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 f*** you CJ. You lost your likeability when you started bitching.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 What is Colby Rasmus' walk up song? welcome!!!
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Bring in your closer in a tied game. Closer gives up back-to-back singles and a sac bunt. Remove him. Fun times in the Jays' pen this year. Lights out guy is now pitching like the 25th man. Ugh.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 So what happened with the whole protest yesterday? Did Gibbons's laziness end up costing the team the game or what?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Jansen used be nails and now he's getting hammered every outing...
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 f*** you CJ. You lost your likeability when you started bitching. If you're going to bitch, at least don't fall apart. He's fallen apart and whined. Doesn't make for a good combination.

Issue for me is that you have to recognize he hasn't been pitching well so bringing him into a tied game wasn't something I agreed with. On the other hand, I'm often wrong.
