He didn't expect him to leap at the wall, he just would have preferred if Bautista played it well off the wall instead of crashing into, it missing the ball by feet.

Seriously, have any of you actually played the game of baseball. You've had five minutes to process what should have been done. That ball was drilled. It got out there in a hurry, it wasn't a line pop fly. Bautista turned and was running full out and couldn't pick up the ball in the sun and had 1 second to make a determination that has taken all of you several minutes to come to a conclusion of what would have been the best course of action.

If today's attempt was isolated then I could agree with you. However, if your premise is true, lately it seems as if he has had a few balls smoked that was also in the sun.
