JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 You could hear a fair amount of that convo and it didn't sound like he did/said anything to get tossed.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 It'll take another 2 years for umps to remove him from the blacklist. I've seen worse not getting tossed.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 He complained at a clear strike yes, but he didn't seem animated enough to deserve getting tossed.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 You could hear a fair amount of that convo and it didn't sound like he did/said anything to get tossed. Yeah he didn't deserve to be tossed there, but he should have gone to the dugout when the ump "suggested" it though. At least he's really cut down on the arguing from last year.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 This is the leader of our team. What a f***ing joke. It was 100% a strike. Sit the f*** down you moron. You would've still had at least one more AB this game.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 He complained at a clear strike yes, but he didn't seem animated enough to deserve getting tossed. I really don't see any positive outcome in complaining. Even if it's a s***** call...just walk back and let the Manager deal with it.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 We don't even have a backup OF do we? Tolleson rofl. Edit: OH yeah, Reimold is back.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 He complained at a clear strike yes, but he didn't seem animated enough to deserve getting tossed. Unless he said something that wasn't heard on the mics that crossed a line it might just be the short fused/ego of the ump tossing someone for questioning his call. That or maybe the umps are getting tired this late in the year and aren't giving as much slack?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Oh wow he didn't deserve to be tossed, WTF? Oh come on. Hung around home plate for like 10-15 seconds and the ump still gave him a chance to go back to the dugout. He 100% deserved to be tossed.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Don't get what you are bitching about. If you argue balls and strikes you can get tossed right away. The ump pointed for bau to go back to the dug out and he didn't. It was a clear strike bau shouldn't of said anything to begin with. Bautista a retard enough said.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 He complained at a clear strike yes, but he didn't seem animated enough to deserve getting tossed. He stayed out way too long even after he was told to go to the dugout. What a stupid f***ing move by Jose. How do you get thrown out in a 1-0 game. f***ing ridiculous
IBTrini Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Calm down Jose. That was a strike. Well he doesn't have the benefit of the replay but when the ump gave him the sign to head back to the dugout he should have complied cuz no amount of showing disapproval with change the ump's mind. Now, that can be seen as a silly play on Bautista's part. Sure frustrations are mounting but now the Jays have to deal without that bat in the lineup.
shortstop Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 At the game Bautista is a selfish moron...
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Kiermaier just being way too aggressive now. You can't turn every single into a double there bud.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 Good throw by Reimold, but almost another mental mistake.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Oh wow he didn't deserve to be tossed, WTF? Who made that comment? Anyway, you cannot argue balls and strikes so if you do then you stand the consequences. The ump allowed him to voice his thought and then asked him to head back to the dugout by way of a sign. Bautista did not comply so rightfully he was ejected. I do not like that he was thrown out but you need to abide by the rules of the game.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 Whoa Eddy, we can't lose you too.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 This is why i defend Rasmus on this board. Shut the f*** up and play the game.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Our "leaders" need to stop bitching. A little disagreement is OK but know when to leave.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Now Edwin DID deserve to get tossed there. BTW, technically I agree that the ump had the right to throw out Bautista, however when the player is mostly just having a conversation I don't think it's necessary.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 Navarro actually made it to third?!!??!
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Tampa has turf too, Joe. Unless it's a totally different kind?
