Dickey, who is seeking his first win in four tries and has allowed four runs in 12 innings over his last two outings. The right-hander is 1-1 with a 2.63 ERA in five games - three starts - against the Brewers, but hasn't faced them since taking a 6-2 loss on Aug. 21, 2011, with the New York Mets. Dickey gave up two runs in seven innings. Jose Bautista has reached base safely in 110 of his 119 starts this season. He has also reached base safely in 26 straight games. The Blue Jays have lost six of seven, with their pitchers posting a 6.95 ERA in that span. Brewers: Jimmy Nelson faced the Dodgers in each of his last two turns, giving up two runs over six innings both times. He suffered a 5-1 defeat Aug. 10 and didn't receive a decision in Milwaukee's 6-3 road win Friday. The latter marked his fifth straight quality start, though he's won just one of those outings. Opponents are batting .283 against Nelson over four day games compared to .222 in three night contests. Ramirez is batting .426 over his last 17 games with eight extra-base hits, and he's 7 for 14 with eight RBIs in four career matchups with Toronto at Miller Park. Lucroy is 6 for 17 over his last four games, with five of those hits going for extra bases. Lucroy currently leads the National League in doubles (42). No primary catcher in Major League history has ever led his league in doubles. RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Ugly lineup after EE Rasmus should not be in the majors not when you have a guy in the minors capable of turning doubles into routine fly balls

An intern can do twitter updates pretty easily.. actually I just got paid $500 to take over the Twitter account for an annual event and I'm finding out that a lot of amateur baseball orgs are interested in paying me to do their social media for them. It's surprising to me too

GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Thanks for Aramis, GD! I turned him into multiple first round picks, some seconds and Mike Zunino or something by the time all was said and done
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Surprisingly they aren't losing yet.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 How did you do that? you traded me him for Kyle Crick + Tommy Hunter Crick was then sent for Jayson Werth (as part of a larger trade involving Anibal but Crick/Werth was a thing) who I sent to Boxy for picks+Zunino

Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Buck laments the loss of beer.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Crick has been traded quite a bit, I got him from Ace in a deal that sent Crick + MILB first (Michael Taylor) + Hector Santiago for C.J. Wilson, then flipped him + Hunter for Aramis. Jesus Christ C.J. Wilson has been terrible this season.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Nice couple Abs by the bottom of the order.
