Braves were trying to get him on a two year deal as he won't be ready to pitch till probably July. He would make a ton in arb. And isn't this his 2nd tommy john.

This thread was fun last year, so let’s do it again. I tried to keep the projected roster at guys who earned a place this year and are likely to make next year’s team. IMO the only virtual locks to not be non-tendered are Lawrie, Francisco, and Hutchison.

And yeah, probably best to just eat the last year of Izturis' contract. He probably won't be useful ever again.

129 mil. More money than I thought. Need to trade Navarro for a decent reliever and free up some cash.

 

Question Is Estrada tradeable at that price. He will get lit up in al East ball parks

Didn't beeston say payroll was going up?

 

I think in Beeston's mind if he says payroll is definitely increasing its just his way of saying salaries are increasing due to backloaded contracts
