jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Geez.. Buehrle's getting pounded early on.. and that July ERA is regression to his FIP/XFIP/SIERA numbers.
theblujay Verified Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 They're probably gonna score at least 4-5 so we're gonna need to hit.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Holy s*** almost had a stroke on that swing
HASHTAGYOLOSWAG Verified Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Get Redmond warming please. Don't even give Buerhle a second time through the order.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Geez.. Buehrle's getting pounded early on.. and that July ERA is regression to his FIP/XFIP/SIERA numbers. I wouldn't say pounded. Bunch of soft ground balls that found holes.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Good thing for that double play.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Thank goodness for Lawrie.. just saved Buehrle's bacon there.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 wtf Buehrle, why is he walking more guys this year?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Well that was lucky in a sense. 4 hits on all groundballs but 0 runs. C'mon bats!
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 0 damage everyone can breathe.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Omg....I really hope buehrle gets traded before next season.....so frustrating to watch
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I wouldn't say pounded. Bunch of soft ground balls that found holes. True.. but his 4.32 xFIP and 4.54 SIERA screamed regression. Just a return back to his normal stats.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 When Buehrle is off he's probably one of my least favorite guys to watch. This will be a tough one.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I was expecting Reyes to be out on 1 pitch somehow
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 That was the most efficient 3-hit inning I've seen. Let's hope the baseball gods got all of it out of their system.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 wtf Buehrle, why is he walking more guys this year? Because he is ~35 yrs old throwing 80 mph fastballs...he cant throw it over thr plate or its gone. He has to nibble/ hit the corners more so then in the past I feel.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Little late to the party, but that was a great turn by Reyes/Kawa
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Nice walk by Cabrera. Now how about a HR?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Good job Melky. Now don't let Norris get comfortable. Make him prove he can throw a strike.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Anyone know the approx number of attendance for tonight?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Has Norris always throw this hard? Holy 97
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 And yet in perspective of the entire league it was pretty average. As it stands currently, I don't really care. Reyes' range isn't ever going to get better. We know what the Jays have defensively at short, no sense bitching about it right now.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Getting good pitches but no good swings
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I think the gun is juiced. Buehrle just hit 85
Chappy Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 1 inning in and the O's already looking like a better and more well-oiled machine. You got this from one inning?
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
