jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Today has been a very sad day.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Retarded baserunning from Tolleson WTF was he doing? He was like a foot on the grass
shortstop Verified Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 lol that was pretty obvious...nice try by Tolleson
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 WTF was that??? Gibbons should've torn the umpire a new one there.. that was a stupid call.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 They go from doing everything right to making the biggest, boneheaded mistakes imaginable.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Let me guess, the players will just blame Rogers for the fact that they have no fundamentals and play with their heads up their asses?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 WTF was that??? Gibbons should've torn the umpire a new one there.. that was a stupid call. Correct call. Tolleson is at fault. He was a f***ing foot inside the baseline.
shortstop Verified Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 but for running inside the base path, would the pitcher have done the same thing? likely not....
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 IF he is inside the box it doesn't hit him and he is out by 10 feet... not exactly the worst mistake. If he was lucky the umps get it wrong and Astros don't challenge
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Jays are playing like a deflated team who expected a lineup upgrade today and didn't get it
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I stepped away from the game and it looks like something dumb happened. Glad I'm only catching pieces of this one.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 It's too bad cause the throw was going to be in the dirt and it would have been a tough play regardless.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Still two full innings left to play. I'm certain the Astros will f*** this up somehow.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Author Posted August 1, 2014 SANCHEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!!!! woooooooooooooo!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I talked to some guys who tell their pitchers to hit the runner if he's inside the line. Not sure I'd risk a judgement call from the umps. with the new system they should be able to get it right with replay so it's not a bad play.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Jays are playing like a deflated team who expected a lineup upgrade today and didn't get it Valencia and Reimold are upgrades.
over500 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Come on Houston, give us the game and win the 1st pick.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Still two full innings left to play. I'm certain the Astros will f*** this up somehow. Seriously. The Astros f***ing suck. Our guys need to step up though.
