His V is consistently down each yr since he became closer in 2012 - but he still gets it done most nights.

 

In 2012 he could touch 93...

Definitely not someone to commit long term to. Still pounds the zone though so he'll be effective.

 

On another note, props to the fat Greek for picking up Reimold. Solid bat off the bench who won us the game last night. If that guy can actually stay healthy he can be a solid contributor.

Reimold has always been a good baseball player. He has just but unlucky with injuries. If he stays healthy for the second half of this season he could make a huge impact for us. I think of Bau playing first when there is a lefty on the hill pushing EE to DH and Lind on the bench when everyone is healthy. We have not had solid depth against LHP for a while.

I remember a few days ago I said we should move Rasmus at the deadline b/c his splits aren't that great this year (in particular with RISP and RISP w/2 out), and that Gose has a higher .obp and winning % with the team so far this year... You just simply ignored the stats I presented.

 

Of course Colby was scratched and we won the game! Shocker! I know he played in the game yesterday still, I'm just talking s*** b/c you seem to be a big Colby fan.

Ah, So we're putting a guy with basically no experience playing first and a career 68 wRC+ vs RHP at first instead. Makes sense to me.
