DH12 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Jays need to win the division outright. A wild card vs the Angels and the Angels win that easily. So their only hope is to try and catch Baltimore but unfortunately Baltimore is on fire and could possibly land Lester. Not looking good for the Jays
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 huh? Anything can happen in one game. Please put an end to this troll.
Tuco Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Please explain to me why the Angels would win a 1 game playin easily? They dont have a single pitcher that scares me.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I don't even know why we bother watching baseball when it's so obvious that superior teams always win.
Tuco Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Garrett Richards will f*** us. Meh I'd rather face him than many other teams top guy.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 The division would be nice. But really...the Astros could beat the A's in a one game series.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 But if they win the division, they'll probably play the the tigers.. I think they need to avoid them by missing the playoffs completely.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 DH12 told the indisputable truth, close this down
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 WC is pretty much a coin flip. I would much prefer to win the division however.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Why do you post here? Because we all need to hear every thought that comes into his head. Duh.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 So many haterz... the dude is right.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 And Dirk Hayhurst will write about it many years later. But only many years later. and try to weasel out of responsibility to report by scapegoating all of society
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 and try to weasel out of responsibility to report by scapegoating all of society Hard for me to believe The Hay didn't participate, he doesn't look like a dude that can afford to pass on pussy.
snowmagician Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 No I want them to only try to win the wild card
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Hard for me to believe The Hay didn't participate, he doesn't look like the dude that can afford to pass on pussy. Dirk gets pulled over for a dui, "its my teammates fault, they bought me drinks all night"

Not looking good for the Jays Then explain why Jered Weaver and Garret Richards can't beat Baltimore. And Lester isn't going to Baltimore.. O's refuse to give top prospects for 2 months of Lester. Plus, Baltimore will cool off sooner or later.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 2012, O's and Joe Saunders beat Rangers and Yu Darvish
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 The games against the O's coming up are going to be the most stressful baseball I've watched in 20 years.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 AA better get a good starter or worse case, a good reliever. If not, we could still make it to the playoffs but ultimately we'll get f***ed by the A's or Tigers
jays76 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 The games against the O's coming up are going to be the most stressful baseball I've watched in 20 years. s*** will get real! Our cupcake schedule comes to an end starting with that series. 1 of 2 things will happen for us at that point- A) everything comes into fruition (team chemistry, health, overall synergy) and we'll make a serious run at the AL East title even though tight ass Rogers cheaped out at the deadline or We get beat down by Baltimore, Detroit, and Seattle revealing all our inadequacies kicking off a tailspin that eventually lands us out of the wildcard spot leading to mega fan backlash because tight ass Rogers cheaped out at the deadline...Ultimately this gets AA canned and leads to another rebuild/5yr project.

Just about every team regardless of how much money they spend during the offseason (and 2 offseasons ago) need to upgrade at the deadline. I don't know who's doing the miscalculating here, AA or Rogers, but they should still get a starter. Doubt it will happen, I actually don't think they have enough assets to get a deal done for a top end starter, maybe they can get a guy like Lackey but how much of an upgrade is he really?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 If rogers doesnt commit anymore money to the team tomorrow. All you rogers clients cancel service immediately. Only if that includes not watching anymore games for the rest of the season. Can't have it both ways.......
