Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Loogy vs the machine Thanks Gibbons
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 So, Gibbons pulls Redmond to bring in Loup and then leads Loup in against a tough right hander when he has a right hander in the pen warming up?
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Tie this ******* game up, enough of these god damn blown leads.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 God, I hate this game. The Jays might have blown all of their chances. They've left twelve guys on today, and they don't have a good habit of coming back once they relinquish their leads late into games. Could go either way. Angels pitching has been giving us chances every inning.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Loogy vs the machine Thanks Gibbons awesome manager we have
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Kratz, do something productive... a BB at least.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 He hit a bullet but Aybar damn made that look easy.
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 And ofcourse now the highlight reel saves begin.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Jesus christ, guys, they're down by one.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Hitters score 7 runs, defense and relievers give up 8
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Just think this score holds, you can thank Reyes for that one run we lost in the first inning lol. What a joke You mean that play when he was actually safe?
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Who is gonna close for LAA in the ninth?
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 These losses are the most painful. It's the low scoring garbage that bugs me the most, like 1-0 @ Oakland. To me this one's just a loss. Relax and come back after the off day.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 How does John McDonald have a spot on a major league team? We could say the same about a number of players on the Jays but then again the Angels are actually trying to compete so it is a bit of a head scratcher that he's on their team when there are younger guys who can out preform him in a backup role.
bowld Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Wasted 4 hours of my life watching this s*** show only to see us lose. sucks...
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 When you lose 1-0, you have a legitimate reason as to why you lost; you flat-out got beat by the pitcher. When you leave 12 runners on base, that, in my opinion, is just unacceptable. You should never lose a game where you have more than 20 base runners. Fair enough. You've convinced me. Now I feel like s***. Great.
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Can we just go to the top of the ninth already, jeez.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Not sure why McGowan or Santos weren't brought in for the seventh, and the Cecil for Hamilton. One inning too late, Gibby.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Guy has amassed 0.9 WAR in 1059 games played. that's pretty atrocious. I guess he's signed by some teams based on reputation or clubhouse presence? I'd say similar to Mark DeRosa but at least he was able to do something.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Ya that one, the one where he ran home like a moron, ignoring baseball fundamentals But still safe. That one's on the umps. Reyes's effort still sucked, though. Don't get me wrong.
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Hoping for at least something of an effort top 9. Anything other than 1 pitch outs, I can deal with.
