TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I've always loved this guy since he was drafted, and stuff like this makes me want to see him succeed even more. I really don't want them to trade this guy. He seems like the kind of player that appreciates what he's got and the further benefit for the team is that he would probably sign team-friendly deals to stick around, as well.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I think it's best we trade him. He has the stuff to be an ace...but I'm afraid he'll end up like Oakland prospect Grant Desme...

Halladay is also deeply religious and he was uncomfortable with going for the biggest payday in free agency. He signed a lot of below market deals with Toronto and when he asked to leave it was to go to a contender. He didn't try to gauge the Phillies for money either. I could see Norris following a similar path.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Ruh-roh. Norris for Headley would suck ass.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Norris is smart, he's ruining his trade value 'cause he want to be a Jays forever. He is done for tonight 0.2, 3H, 2 ER, 2 walks, HR
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 wellll let's hope he bombs Well,so far so good. He's off to a rough start and got pulled. 0.2 IP 2ER 3BB 0K and left with bases loaded. 33 pitches (17 strikes). Gave up a lead off HR. The scouts all left.
